FAQ

FAQ

Answers to the questions guests ask most, before you book.

Booking & Check-in

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and check-out is at 12:00 noon — a late check-out that lets you enjoy a slow final morning.

How does check-in work?

Check-in is contactless. After booking, your private guest page will guide you through the gate and entrance procedures with photos — no front desk needed.

How many guests can stay?

Up to 9 guests (6 recommended). There are 3 bedrooms: Bedroom 1 has two single beds, and Bedrooms 2 and 3 each have two semi-double beds. For groups of 7 or more, two folding beds and a sofa bed in the living room serve as additional bedding.

Can children and infants stay?

Yes, infants from 0 years old are welcome to stay. As the entire villa is yours alone, your family can relax in complete privacy without worrying about other guests.

Please note that both the person making the reservation and the lead guest must be 18 years of age or older.

Is there a charge for children?

Children aged 5 or under may stay free of charge, up to 2 children, when sharing an existing bed — they are not counted toward the guest capacity. Regardless of age, a child who requires their own bedding is counted toward the capacity.

Please note that cribs and extra beds are not available.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations made from 14 days before the stay incur 50% of the accommodation fee, from 7 days before 100%, and same-day or no-show cancellations 100%.

For greater peace of mind, we recommend considering travel/booking cancellation insurance in advance. Please check the coverage and applicable conditions directly with each insurance provider.

Please also note that new bookings are not accepted after midnight (0:00) 3 days before the stay.

Is there a curfew?

There is no curfew — enjoy the island at your own pace. We only ask that you be considerate of neighbors when coming and going at night.

Can I arrange early check-in or late check-out?

Late check-out is available on request for ¥5,000 per hour, subject to availability. Depending on the cleaning schedule on the day, we may not be able to accommodate your request.

Early check-in, on the other hand, is available free of charge. If you would like to arrive early and settle in at your leisure, please feel free to let us know.

Your Stay & House Rules

Can we have a BBQ?

An electric BBQ grill is available as a paid option (¥5,000) — no charcoal or fire-starting needed. Enjoy a private BBQ on the terrace with outdoor table. Please bring your own ingredients.

Until what month can we use the pool?

The pool has a heat-pump water heating system, so it can be used throughout the year. As it is an outdoor pool, however, the water may feel cool in winter or depending on the weather. From November until around early May, we adjust the water temperature to the air temperature and weather. The pool is 1.1 m deep. The private pool is exclusively for guests. Hours and safety rules are provided on your guest page. The pool may be unavailable in bad weather.

Can we invite non-staying friends or acquaintances to use the BBQ or pool?

Yes, this is possible. Please note, however, that use by visitors is limited to until 8:00 pm (20:00).

Is there housekeeping during our stay?

For stays of up to 3 nights, there is no towel change or room cleaning during your stay, and we kindly ask that you launder the towels yourself.

For stays of 4 nights or more, towels are changed and the room is cleaned every 3 nights (the first service is on the 3rd night).

Is smoking allowed?

Smoking is prohibited throughout the property, both indoors and outdoors.

Can I bring my pet?

We regret that pets are not allowed.

Are there rules about noise at night?

We do not set specific quiet hours, but as the villa sits in a quiet village surrounded by nature, we kindly ask that at night you be considerate of the surroundings — including conversation, music and the use of Bluetooth speakers on the terrace and poolside.

Are there security cameras?

For security, there is one outdoor camera at the gate and one behind the building. There are no cameras indoors.
